Please note this has not been tested on other machines, but may still work
Development
-----------
Editor - Visual Studio Code gives ability to use version control and better copying and pasting than using an actual Atari computer
Character Editor - My own application called AcornPad
I have never programmed in Atari Basic before except typing in magazine listing when I was 11,
this is my first Atari game I have ever written.
No Assembler was used in making this game, it is 100% basic
Following 3 files are stored in the ZIP
Readme.txt : This file.
Source.txt : The game file stored as an easily readable text file.
slot.bas : This is the main game file, which has been saved as an Atari Basic file.
How to play
-----------
There are quite a few Atari Emulators available, the one I've been using to test the game is called Altirra
which can be downloaded from here https://www.virtualdub.org/altirra.html
Unzip the supplied file to directory, run your emulator,
select File - Boot Image from Altirra menu and select the slot.bas file
This will automatically load and run the basic program for you.
